SPOROBOLUS heterolepis (C8) A native warm season grass, it grows in a 2-3 feet tall clump, with delicate open panicles that are surprisingly fragrant. Fall is the true season of interest for prairie dropseed, with orange-red fall color softening to creamy beige in the winter. more info |

SPOROBOLUS wrightii This grass is a great "see-through" plant, used to filter but not obstruct a view. Arching green leaves rise 3-4 feet tall in the Summer, followed by stunning feathery seed heads to 7 feet. more info |
